B2B trade show success from coast to coast.

Over the past few months Centrifuge has had the honor of helping two unique clients plan and prepare for their respective national trade show events. Adding to the challenge was the fact that they were scheduled for the same week and on opposite coasts of the country!

Newest client Drive Source International sought to make a big splash at WEFTEC in Los Angeles this year, complete with a brand new 20x25 island booth design, brand message platform and integrated graphics. Dripping with digital technology in DSI’s new line of controls, Centrifuge added to the mix a dramatic new video animation and an engaging iPad presentation for the sales team.

2500 miles away from LA in the sunny city of Orlando, New Millennium was intent on building its momentum in the Design-Build market at the DBIA show. Centrifuge elevated the live BIM presentation and brand-building video for within the booth, while helping to drive booth traffic through a variety of outbound marketing communication tactics and customer cultivation techniques.

But now with new ownership and management in place, DSI has re-established a solid foundation for growth.

“This is a story of renewal and rediscovery,” says Ken Jackson, principal and director of creative services at Centrifuge.  “This is the return of a proud and important brand to the marketplace – and we have the privilege of helping a revitalized company tell that story.”

It's more than just ”practice what you preach“, it's a matter of sound business practice. Centrifuge spends an enormous amount of time living in our client's industrial manufacturing worlds, uncovering opportunities and then crafting the strategies and tactics to capitalize on them. We felt it was time to upgrade our own world and capitalize on proven techniques and at the same time better showcase our creative talents.

www.centrifuge-now.com is part of our integrated marketing communications program, which includes a robust social component comprised of LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Flikr, and several blogs. SEO is a huge contributor to the success of any strategic marketing campaign, and video plays an important role in the mix.

It may seem untimely to have started a new agency in a recession, when so many B2B companies have cut back on advertising spending. But in the case of this upstart, success comes from a new kind of agency relationship, as the firm’s clients are discovering.

“Our passion is helping challenger brand B2B companies achieve their full potential and grow in any economy,” explains Ken Jackson, co-founder and overseer of creative direction. “We’re engineering communications that connect a customer’s deeper needs to the core expertise of our client. So when we help a client on a new product launch, we don’t view it as a product story. It’s a long-term value proposition”

The difference is one of perspective, adds John Barnett, co-founder and overseer of strategic services for the firm. “CEOs know this is a unique time for their organizations to capitalize on a sense of urgency. While we are helping B2B companies bring new products to market, we are also helping them align around a more clear articulation of their core strengths, their collective mission and the brand identity that will move the business forward long-term.”

“This was a fun and important program to us,” says John Barnett, a principal at Centrifuge. “Selden Fox is a venerable firm, and we needed to be careful about maintaining their brand identity. We helped them build event attendance, using engaging online methods. Moreover, the event was an opportunity for Selden Fox to articulate their mission and message in the context of the total event experience, from invitation to registration and throughout the event itself. As a result, they reached their attendance goal, but they also achieved some separation in their marketplace.”

Established in 1978, Selden Fox offers a comprehensive range of auditing and accounting; tax planning and preparation; and business consulting services.

New B2B firm helps challenger companies sell in any economy.

A new, brand identity firm has been formed with the specific purpose of solving the branding and business communication needs of come-from-behind B2B companies with a focus on helping them grow. [more]

It may seem untimely to launch a new marketing communications business while in the valley of a recession, when so many B2B companies have cut back on advertising spending. However, Centrifuge Brand Marketing is not an ad agency, explains Ken Jackson, principal and overseer of creative direction for the new firm.

“Our passion is helping challenger brand B2B companies achieve their full potential and grow in any economy,” Jackson says. “We’re doing this now by helping sales and marketing professionals leverage the power of highly strategic, insight-driven business communications.”

Although just 16 weeks old, the new firm has attracted such national B2B companies as Siemens Industry, Inc. (motion control), Watts Water Technologies, Inc. (commercial and residential water valves), and New Millennium Building Systems, LLC (steel fabrication).

“Some CEO’s, sales and marketing leaders recognize this can be a time of opportunity” says John Barnett, principal and overseer of strategic services for the new firm. ”Speaking directly now to those business leaders, we can help you take advantage of your organization’s prevailing sense of urgency to rally your people around your company’s core strengths, crystallize your brand identity and grow sales by solving the deeper needs of your customers.”
