These are vibrant times to be a professional communicator. The world is connected via the internet 24/7/365. Print, online, video, social, trade shows and mobile all coexist and strive for both attention and participation in our daily lives. It's exciting to be the design lead across all these media choices as we craft successful integrated marketing communication programs for our clients.

Having earned a BFA in advertising communications, I began my career at Combined Graphics Corporation where I headed up the graphics department and coordinated the production of displays, packaging and print collateral. My employers, John Read and Michael Lind, are two of the smartest business people I have ever met. They showed me how much fun a work environment could be, which has made a huge impact on where I am today and who I choose to work with. I maintain a close working relationship with both John and Michael, so I say thank you to them for laying the foundation of my career.

After four years of working on the client side, it was time for me to challenge myself further by entering the freelance market for various consumer brand marketing agencies, designing for such national accounts as Kraft Foods, Alberto Culver, Wilton Enterprise, ConAgra Foods, and Diners Club.

After a year of B2C design experience, I joined B2B agency Media Pro to work on the Mitsubishi account, heading up the design work for seven of their divisions. It was this job that landed me an interview at Arends, where I met Ken Jackson, then creative director, and John Barnett. These two gentlemen taught me the real meaning of integrated marketing communications. I had found my true calling and over the next nine years extended my design experience into interactive media, web and video. Thanks to Ken's support, I excel at designing for both traditional and interactive media.

Today, as the world of digital brand marketing continues to evolve, and businesses strive to compete in the global economy, I'm honored to be working with such an incredible team. We are charged with energy, and ready to give your brand the creative impact it needs.
